What Is Thrill The World?
Thrill The World is a global community project that inspires others to break down barriers by connecting people of all religions, races, political persuasions, and economic backgrounds. The organization contributes to the growth of humanity by encouraging others to step up as leaders, visionaries, and creators. Role models around the world organize local dance groups to join other nations at the same time, performing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” while raising money for charity.
How Did It Start?
Ines Markeljevic – Founder, Dance Script Author, Original Event Manager
A professional dance instructor 2001-2012, Ines formed her initial Thriller dance group in 2006 in Toronto, Canada. Her group broke the Guinness World Record for the largest Thriller dance in one location. In 2007 she transformed her creativity into an international event for groups around the world to perform at the same time, now represented in 33 countries on six continents. Several world records with the Record Holders Republic and World Record Academy have been broken for the Largest Simultaneous Thriller Dance performed in Ines’ Thrill The World international production. Every October dancers around the world come together to carry on the legacy of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and raise funds for charity.
